Personal Customers

*In cases where original documents cannot be provided on a ‘face-to-face basis’ We will accept copies of ID. However, in the case of Photo ID this must be certified as "Seen and providing a true likeness" by a either a lawyer, accountant, post master, banker, teacher, doctor, minister of religion who should sign the copy and supply their own name and address and contact details. Copies of certified documents should be posted or presented in person at our office.

Business Customers - Companies

Before carrying out any business with us, the following documentation must be obtained from each company customer:

• Full name, registered number and registered address
• Business address
• Business activity
• Names of all directors

• Confirmation of the names all directors and beneficial owners (anyone who owns or controls, directly or indirectly, more than 25% of the company)

• Letter from the directors confirming which named individuals have authority to act on behalf of the company

• Turnover of the business, its size and number of employees
• Length of establishment
• Certified copy of ID and proof of address for all those who are authorised to trade

*ID verification of Directors, Partners or Sole Traders (two forms of identification, one of which must include a photo ID. Valid passports, driving licenses and identity cards along with a recent utility bill, bank statement or mortgage statement showing a home address (no more than 3 months old) are common forms provided)

The above information must be supported by:

• Extract from appropriate company register
• Certificate of Incorporation
• Memorandum and Articles
• Company structure chart (where necessary)

Please note:

• All customers must comply with the requirements above. We retain the right to refuse or accept a customer instruction and are under no obligation to enter into a transaction should we choose not to do so.

• The required documents should not be older than 3 months

• In case when your national passport is at the Home Office, you will be required to show a letter from the Home Office confirming this and will be required to show alternative proof of ID (Driving license).

• If due to any reason you are unable to present all the required documents please visit us with any documents you have and our member of staff will consider your situation according to the requirements of law in the UK.
